Dr.Gautam G Dua ; I/c Principal

Dr Gautam Dua is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and has been teaching since 2010 at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He has taught BBA, B.Com, BA, MBA, M.Com, M.Sc, and MA (Economics) students in his career span. Before joining academics he worked with Media and Human Resource company. He has conducted over two dozen seminars on various trending topics also, delivered keynote speeches at multiple FDPs and MDPs. He has also delivered live lectures on the Government Education Channel on television.
Dr Gautam is a recognised PhD supervisor at VNSGU in Commerce / Management, his core area of interest includes Stealth advertising, Green Marketing, Brand management, and Higher Education Marketing. He has more than a dozen research papers to his credit published in various International and National journals including UGC Care. He has presented several research papers at International conferences in India and abroad. He has two approved projects from IIMA under the CRMS grant. He has authored and edited multiple books in the field of management and marketing. Other than academics, he also provides consultancy to MSME companies.
During his graduation and post-graduation, he has bagged many trophies and medals in various management events, extempore, and entrepreneurship competitions. His hobbies include playing cricket & table tennis, travelling, and listening to good music. For his contribution to society, he is been awarded the "Nation Builder Award" by Rotary Club and the "Youth Icon Award" by Yuva Unstoppable NGO.

Dr. Krishna I. Patel; Assistant Professor (English)
B.A, M.A. (Gold Medalist), PG-TEACHER, PhD Supervisor
Dr. Krishna has been teaching in higher education since year 2010. She has served at Ambaba Commerce college, Sabargam and Agarwal Vidya Vihar English Medium College, Vesu. She is a gold medallist (She received gold medals from the hands of respected Shri Narendra Modiji) . She also has been teaching to the PG students at MRS department, VNSGU; MA department (Z. F. Wadia Women’s college and N. K. Jhota college of Commerce, Surat) and Library Science department, VNSGU. Apart from attending the National and International seminars in the subject of English, many papers written by her are published in the national and international journals. Being the PhD supervisor, she mentors four PhD students at department of English, VNSGU. While teaching English to the college students she also guides them to be better communicators in the corporate field. She also conducts many events on extracurricular activities and guides students in the university youth festival.

Lt. Jigar J. Chavda; Assistant.Professor

Lt. Jigar Chawda has six years of experience as a physical teacher in international schools. He is serving AVV English Medium College since 2017. Mr. Jigar's specialization sport is volleyball., he was captain of under-16 Gujarat volleyball team in 2003-04. He holds special interest in free style swimming. Under his mentorship several students have bagged medals at university and national level. Moreover, several students has played university western zone events under his mentorship. Mr. Jigar is an invitee referee and match official at many universities for Volleyball matches. Currently he is pursuing PhD from Patan University.
Lt. Jigar has successfully completed his ANO training of NCC from Kamptee (Nagpur) and is currently heading the NCC unit of AVV College.

CA. Pujan has total 10 years of academic experience comprising of teaching professional courses like CA, CS & CMA; post graduate courses like MBA & MCOM; undergraduate courses like B. Com & BBA. He had been associated with HDFC Bank as a Credit Manager for more than 2 years. He possesses 3 years of internship experience with one of the renowned chartered accountants’ firms of Surat with his area of expertise in Direct Taxation & Audit. He has been awarded Junior Research Fellowship by UGC in the subject of Commerce. He has an excellent academic record which comprises of 9th rank in Surat in CA Final exams, distinction in UG degree with 2nd rank in college & first class in masters degree. He is prone to extra-curricular activities and has won several competitions viz. international Olympiad, elocution, group discussion, slogan writing, project presentation, drama & sports. His heart beats for cricket, ear craves for beautiful music and eye longs to sight scenic natural landscapes.

Mr. Shaurya Shah has 6 years of Academic experience in teaching various undergraduate and Post Graduate courses. He is also a PG Faculty at SPB Commerce College and DRB Commerce College. He has attended many National and International Seminars, FDP and Conferences in the subject of accountancy and commerce. Many papers written by him are published in the National and International Journals. He is a life member of Indian Accounting Association. He is a firm believer in Quote “An Investment in Knowledge pays the best Interest ’’. He has completed his Post graduation with throughout distinction from VNSGU and was also the topper of his college throughout his graduation. He has also been awarded as “TALENT OF THE YEAR” during his graduation. He has been honoured with number of prestigious awards and medals from various academic institutions and university for his participation in various events and competitions. His keen areas of interest are Accountancy, Finance, Management and Business. He also guides and prepares students for various inter-college events. Ms. Shivangi K. Sethi; Assistant.Professor

Starting her career as a private educator for six years teaching young minds then, she now has an overall teaching experience of more than five years at college-level teaching students of undergraduate courses like BCom and BBA. She has also taught varied subjects in the field of Accountancy and Commerce in SPB English Medium College of Commerce and Vanita Vishram Women’s College of Commerce as a teaching assistant and visiting faculty respectively. She has also acquired PG recognition in VNSGU and has been working as a PG teacher for over three years now at SPB English Medium College of Commerce teaching M.com students in the subject of Accountancy.
She is alumnus of SPB English Medium College of Commerce where she consecutively stood first in all the three years of graduation and stood second at post-graduation level. She has participated in number of National Conferences, National Faculty Development Programme, Workshops, Seminars and Webinars. She has a research paper publication to her credit.
Seeking passion from her profession, her soul finds peace in adding rhythm to words. She has written more than 50 Poems and other short writings posted on her Instagram handle – notso.poetic and also writes blogs under the name Not so Poetic ~ Shivangi Sethi (notsopoetic-shivangi.blogspot.com). Two of her poems got selected and have been published in two anthologies namely “Broken and Beautiful” and “Paper Planes” also available on amazon.
She is a core believer of the fact that Teaching is Learning and receives immense satisfaction when her content delivery meets the positive outcome of students. Her area of interest is Accountancy and Commerce. She also seeks pleasure in reading books, listening podcasts and good music.

He is in to teaching since 2002 and have taught to various Undergraduate and Post Graduate level programs. He has taught economics subject at B.com, B.A, B.B.A, M.B.A, C.F.A, MA and M.com level. He started his teaching career from M.S. University of Baroda, after that he taught in S.P. University affiliated college and at present he is associated with AVVEM College affiliated to V.N.S.G. University. He has presented various research papers in International, National, and Regional seminars and conferences. He has also attended different training programs conducted by state government and national institutes. He has worked as external evaluate and paper setter for various Universities.

Dr. Nandish Manoj Upadhyay is associated with academics since July, 2012 at under graduate and Post graduate level. He has taught to Diploma Engineering, BBA and MBA students. Along with academics he was associated with consultancy projects at S.R. Luthra Institute of Management. Juhi has been teaching college UG students since 2019. Previously she has two years of private academic experience of teaching MBA students and higher secondary schooling courses to commerce students. Previous to this, she worked as a Credit Analyst with J.P. Morgan Chase and Co. for two years. She also possesses internship experience at Nomura Services India Private Limited, Mumbai where she worked on the IPO pitch of Yatra as well as 2 years of articleship experience with one of the renowned chartered accountants’ firms of Surat with his area of expertise in Direct Taxation & Audit. She has a strong academic background which includes 7th rank in Surat in CA CPT exams, first class in UG degree & 2nd rank in MBA course. She has a deep penchant for writing and has also written a book ‘The Twin Ring the bell of Canada’ at the age of 13 which was published by Arya Publishing House, New Delhi. She also has an active interest in extra-curricular activities and has won a national level award for Best Paper Presentation on Bitcoins by ICAI. She has also represented her college at CFA Research challenge zonal level where she presented her analysis on Yes Bank. She has also served as the member of the Finance Club of her college, Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune. Her interests are reading and travelling.

Vaishika Rajeshkumar Kadia is a highly educated and experienced individual with a range of degrees and qualifications. She has a B.Com. from V.N.S.G.U., a B.A. in Economics from the same university, and an M.A. in Economics from V.N.S.G.U. Vaishika has also completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Research Methodology and passed the GSET exam. She has a M.Phil. in Economics from V.N.S.G.U. and has over five years of experience teaching undergraduate courses, including B.Com.,She has also acquired PG recognition in VNSGU and has been working as a PG teacher for over 6 months, teaching PG students of Department of Commerce and Agarwal Vidya Vihar English Medium College in the subject of Economics. She has a strong track record of publication and presentation in the field of economics. She has published nine research papers in various journals and has presented six papers at conferences and seminars.Vaishika has also published a book on the Indian economy.In addition to her professional pursuits, Vaishika has excelled in athletics, particularly in air rifle shooting, and has participated in the All India Inter University level at Guru Nanak University in Amritsir and Jivaji University in Gwalior. She is also a skilled performer, with a B.A. in Bharatanatyam(Visharad) and experience as a Warli artist. Prof. Bhargav R. Paghadal has been in the education field for 4 years, teaching Undergraduate and postgraduate students. During his career span, he taught Statistics, Business Administration, banking to UG students and Research Methodology to PG students. He has worked as an assistant professor at Rofel Arts and Commerce College Vapi from the year 2019. He has a vast knowledge of Stock Market, statistical Database, Banking and digital learning.
Through his career span, he has performed duty as a coordinator of the Online assessment exam centre, and coordinated State level CU-CET exam in his previous college. He has deep understanding of the computer world, Technology and graphics. He has conducted many academic events for students such as Quiz, Online Seminar, Creative Learning, PowerPoint etc.
At Present he is pursuing his Doctoral in statistics at VNSGU, Surat. He is good at reporting of various data capture such as GSIRF, NIRF, ARIIA etc. His hobbies include sports, Music, Stock market, exploring new places etc.

Many papers written by her are published in national and international journals and books. She also presented many research papers in various national and international seminars and conferences.
