Agarwal Samaj Vidya Vihar Trust was established by Agarwal Samaj Trust in the year 1998. The Trust was established with an aim to fulfill the educational needs of the Children in Surat. Initially, a school was started in the year 2002. This school was affiliated with CBSE-New Delhi in the year 2005. Now it is a well-established school of the City.

The School Education is an incomplete education & therefore the trust has aimed to give a good college to the students who have passed Higher Secondary from English Medium. There are only a few Colleges functioning in English Medium in Surat. To prepare the Children of Surat City to face any competition at the National or International Level, English is Essential. Therefore, in the interest of XII Std. passed out Students, the Trust has established an English Medium College with Under-Graduate Courses in Commerce & Arts Faculties. The Ultimate purpose of the Trust is to establish a good English Medium College for the Students so that their personality may be groomed & Transformed into a Global Achiever & to produce sensible citizens for the Motherland.

Affiliated to Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, AVV English Medium Arts College provides good career opportunities in various fields. Today, we are an AICTE-approved institute for our BBA program. We also offer Banking and accounts specialization at the B.Com level. We have an NCC unit of 5 Bn. Guj. with the highest strength of South Gujarat in SFIs. We also offer NSS as an option to the first and second year students.

Education is the basic need of any Individual, Society, and finally the Nation. School education is one segment of a student's life, but the real challenges & new ventures start when a student enters college or university education. These years are very crucial for the students because these years are going to decide their career, future, and eventually the life they wish to lead. Therefore, College Education is the most important factor deciding many things in the life of an individual. We wish to give a good, different & unique college to Surat city. We wish to give a platform to Commerce & Arts Students not just to get a degree but to develop physically & mentally to compete for any National Level Examinations, like UPSC, C.A., ICMA, ICFA, ETC. We believe that if a proper academic environment is given to the students, they may be projected in the desired direction. This College offers MA (Economics), BA (Economics), B.Com & B.B.A. Courses to students through the English Medium. We endeavor to shape well-groomed personalities that will contribute positively to society. We aim to provide the right academic environment to young minds to take their own decisions & face any situation positively. The College also plans to organise Various Co-Curricular Activities, Seminars, Social Welfare Activities, and Cultural Programs to inculcate social & moral values in the students. We offer Banking and Accountancy specialization in B.Com. Whereas, in BBA, we offer Finance, Marketing, and Human Resources as specializations in BBA. Moreover, in BA we offer Economics as a Principal subject and English and Political Science as a subsidiary subject.
