The Study in India program is a flagship initiative launched by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India, in 2018. It aims to encourage the global student community to pursue higher education in India. Since its inception, the program has attracted students from over 150 countries across SAARC, Africa, South-East Asia, Central Asia, and the Middle East, enabling them to experience the best of academic learning from top Indian institutions.

The Study in India website is a gateway for students to access information about Indian Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) in one place. Aspirants will have the opportunity to learn more about the program and its offerings. Now it is mandatory for international students to obtain an SII ID while applying for a student visa, and institutions intending to offer admission to international students must be registered on the Study in India portal.

We are delighted to announce that the Study in India portal now includes a dedicated section for Short-Term Courses. This new feature enables institutions across India to highlight and promote their short-term programs to a global student audience through our platform.

​

Institutions are invited to register and upload their short-term programs directly on the portal.
